His extensive experience in mineral exploration and mine development especially for gold and base metal deposits, particularly epithermal and porphyry systems. He started his career as a Junior Geologist at BHP Utah Pacific Inc in 1987, then became a Geologist three months later. In 1995 he was promoted to Project Geologist until 1999. In July 1999, he continued his career to Austindo Group as a District Geologist, then got a promotion in 2001 as Project Manager. In 2002 he became Exploration Manager in several companies until April 2015. Now after retiring from Pama Group in April 2021 after previously serving as Director - Resources Development & Engineering, he is active as an Independent Consultant at PT GMP
In the Organization he has served as chairman for 4 rounds, in MGEI period 2008-2010 and 2010-2012. as IAGI Chairman for period 2014-2017 and 2017-2020. In Joint Committee (Kombers) of The KCMI section Development of Mineral Valuation Code.
