John Carlile, has over 40 years of experience exploring gold and copper, mainly in the Asia-Pacific region with a focus on Indonesia. He led the discovery of the Gosowong gold deposit in Halmahera during the 1990s, which has since produced over 7 million ounces of gold. His work in remote parts of Indonesia has given him exposure to diverse landscapes, wildlife, and communities.
